About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for a variety of tasks including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and monitoring performance during the shift
  • Maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the following shift
  • Meeting targets set for the shift
  • Helping assigned departments meet their goals
  • Managing inventory and daily maintenance
  • Managing crew and ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Managing safety and security protocols
  • Training new employees

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with a schedule
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Age 18 or older
