Shift Manager Operations
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Maintain supervisory control over work activities of the crew
- Schedule equipment and manpower
- Conduct daily/monthly safety meetings
- Aid in the development, review, and update of JSHA’s (Job Safety and Health Analysis) to eliminate safety hazards
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ prior supervisory experience of industrial/manufacturing experience
- Ability to lead and motivate employees
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a multi-level organization that operates 24/7, and work extended hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field
- Knowledge of melting, casting, or rolling steel or other metals
- Experience in a union environment

Requirements
The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of operating employees in the department. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, willing to work a rotating schedule, work weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
