Summary Of Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety protocols, environmental regulations and operational procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe work environment
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to hourly union production employees across assigned shifts
- Monitor and manage production performance to meet quality and efficiency goals
- Cookstaff and schedule to ensure adequate coverage and effective operations for the shift
- Complete and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to production, quality and safety
- Administers discipline as required
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- The ability to train, lead and hold others accountable for compliance of safety and quality
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, including exposure to heat, noise and moving equipment
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and production management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- An associates or bachelor’s degree in management or related field
- Experience managing in a union environment and/or in heavy industry
