Shift Manager Operations

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety protocols, environmental regulations and operational procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe work environment
• Provide direct supervision and leadership to hourly union production employees across assigned shifts
• Monitor and manage production performance to meet quality and efficiency goals
• Cookstaff and schedule to ensure adequate coverage and effective operations for the shift
• Complete and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to production, quality and safety
• Administers discipline as required

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
• The ability to train, lead and hold others accountable for compliance of safety and quality
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, including exposure to heat, noise and moving equipment
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and production management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• An associates or bachelor’s degree in management or related field
• Experience managing in a union environment and/or in heavy industry
