Shift Manager Maintenance

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Schedules routine activities.
• Supervises completion of work assignments and follows established department plans.
• Maintains general discipline of the crew in meeting the daily production, safety and quality objectives.
• Instructs personnel in job requirements, company rules and practices.
• Captures production and maintenance activities with different departments, assists in developing continuous improvement plans.
• Makes sure the site's operation adheres to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity performance standards and performs regular audits.
• Led employees' training and performance review programs.
• Improves overall production, processes and services efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-year degree in technical field or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ recent experience at a mining/mineral processing facility or heavy industry, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills such as team building and conflict resolution are required.
• Willingness to promote team concepts and company policies.
• Ability to motivate, delegate, establish, and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24-hour coverage, 7 days per week.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $105,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
