Shift Manager in Training

About the role

A Shift Manager in Training leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They oversee and lead crew and other managers on their shift, inspire and empower the team, and take action to ensure safety, security, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards during the shift
• Monitoring safety, security, and profitability
• Communicating with other Shift Managers and crew
• Motivating, delegating, and coaching the team
• Completing assigned cleanliness and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Previous Manager experience or experience in hospitality or retail
• Flexible scheduling
• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong customer service and support focus
• The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
