About the role
A Shift Manager in Training leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They oversee and lead crew and other managers on their shift, inspire and empower the team, and take action to ensure safety, security, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards during the shift
- Monitoring safety, security, and profitability
- Communicating with other Shift Managers and crew
- Motivating, delegating, and coaching the team
- Completing assigned cleanliness tasks
- Completing assigned planned maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Previous Manager experience
- A background in quick service restaurants or experience in hospitality or retail
- Must be 18 years or older
Qualifications
- Passion for helping and serving others
- Strong customer service and support focus
- The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
- Previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
