Position Overview
Responsible for all production and operational activities within the Fab on all product lines.
Schedule Requirement
Schedule Requirement: This position is to manage 2 shifts (A/B) supporting 24 hour compressed work production with changes at 5am / 5pm. Required to work at least 4-day x 10 hrs coverage spanning Sunday to Wednesday weekly with 3 hrs minimum overlap to off-shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Fab performance Metrics and ethos, including but not limited to Safety, Revenue, Throughput, Cycle time, Yield and on time delivery commits.
- Work In close collaboration with the Fab engineering, Equipment, Quality and Facility teams.
- Partner with engineering teams, BUs, Planning, and Production Control to deliver on company revenue and customer commitments.
- Responsible for WIP management and on-time-delivery to commits.
- Staffing: hiring, training, retention, dismissal, and employee relations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Develop Bench strength by developing and executing to MT training plans Ensure training plans are on schedule, onboarding of new employees is complete and comprehensive.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational procedures, yield, and business systems.
- Lead Productivity improvement and cost reduction projects across the shifts
- Deliver 5S and Lean solutions.
- Partner with peers on Quality improvement solutions
- Drive standardization activities/systems/protocols across shifts.
- Interface with internal and external customers as required.

- Very strong knowledge of semiconductor processing and basic device physics.

- Expert with Lean and 5S programs.
- Proficient with statistical methods used in manufacturing: SPC, DOE.
- Excel and Power point proficiency
- Proficient in Structured Problem Solving Operational System knowledge
- Compliance (ISO, Safety, Quality) knowhow

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Min 8 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management.
- Ability to work off shift hours as business needs require.
- Bachelors in Engineering, Operations or related field.
