About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the restaurant during their shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through attentive service and prompt attention to customer needs.
• Supervises restaurant employees, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.
• Manages inventory levels and food preparation to meet demand while minimizing waste.
• Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance restaurant performance.

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
