About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Ensure guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving
• Supervise and train restaurant employees
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
• Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions and manage employee schedules
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies

Requirements

• A high school education or GED
• A valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Motivated and service-oriented
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
