Shift Manager, Cage-Ex
About the role
The Cage Shift Manager oversees and manages cage operations during an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role supervises, directs, and supports cage staff, monitors cash flow, provides excellent guest service, and ensures compliance with gaming regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage cage operations during the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, direct, and support cage staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reports related to cash movement, inventory, and incidents occurring during the shift.
- Monitor and control inventory of chips, cash, and other financial instruments.
- Address operational issues, discrepancies, complaints, and emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing training to ensure consistent performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college coursework or related training preferred.
- Prior experience in cage operations, cashiering, or a related role within a gaming facility required.
- Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of gaming regulations, internal controls, and cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $X-$Y per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position is typically scheduled for a 12-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
