About the role

Shift Managers are responsible for ensuring quality service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. They oversee the management of people, equipment, and product daily.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the shift
• Meet targets during shifts
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Ensure the restaurant can serve guests at any time
• Manage food safety internally
• Manage inventory
• Perform daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Manage crew
• Ensure quality food production
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure safety and security
• Schedule staff
• Train crew

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants

Qualifications

Open availability to ensure serving every guest, regardless of day or time.

Skills

Leadership, communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

• Starting rate $16.00 when certified / already certified

Pay

Starting rate $16.00, with potential increases based on experience and performance.

Schedule

• Two weeks vacation after one year anniversary, accrues 1 week every 6 months
• Eight hours of birthday pay on your birthday
