About the role
The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a retail store, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, staff scheduling, and merchandise displays.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Manage employee relations, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing disciplinary issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail or related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred.
