Shift Manager

About the role

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a retail store, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including inventory management, staff scheduling, and merchandise displays.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
• Manage employee relations, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing disciplinary issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred.
