About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and quality standards in the restaurant.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager.
  • Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
  • Train and develop crew members.
  • Meet and exceed departmental and individual performance targets.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Age 18 or older.

Qualifications

While not specified, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred but not required.
