Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication between shifts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Monitor and address food safety issues.
- Train and develop crew members.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to prepare for their responsibilities.
- Meet and exceed performance targets.
- Support departmental goals.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
Qualifications
