Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Provide leadership to crew members and other managers during the shift to maintain great quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
- May be responsible for meeting targets during their shift, completing paperwork timely, and helping assigned Departments meet their goals.
- Ensure food safety, manage internal communication, handle exceptional customer service, manage team members, and manage inventory.
- Train new employees, maintain daily maintenance and cleanliness, and enforce safety and security protocols.
- Support recruitment, retention, engagement, and other people practices.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for the role.
Physical Demands
- Work a schedule that fits the restaurant needs.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
- Use muscles to lift, push, pull, and carry objects: occasionally up to 40 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds.
- Complete tasks and work positions with repetitive motions.
- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
