Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and crew scheduling.
• Handle food safety, internal communication, and exceptional customer service.
• Manage safety and security protocols.
• Train and develop crew members.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
• At least 18 years old.
