Shift Manager

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shift Manager with fast-food or quick-service restaurant experience to lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts. The Shift Manager plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring strong execution of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards. This position reports to the General Manager and supports the development and performance of crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience
• Execute daily shift plans, including staffing, deployment, and readiness
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation standards
• Monitor performance throughout the shift and take corrective action as needed
• Maintain high standards of quality food production and cleanliness
• Enforce cash-handling policies, security procedures, and opening/closing checklists
• Coach, train, and motivate crew members through hands-on leadership
• Address customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Ensure lobby, restrooms, kitchen, and service areas remain clean and organized
• Communicate clearly with the management team regarding shift outcomes and issues
• Act as a role model by leading with integrity, urgency, and teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of fast-food or QSR management or supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to consistently follow established routines, procedures, and operational systems
• Working knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and shift operations
• Ability to coach and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates MUST HAVE 2+ years of fast-food experience and management or trainer experience
• Must be 21+ years or older, & valid driver’s license
• Serve Safe Certificate a PLUS
