Shift Manager
About the role
This role is vital in the restaurant because you'll lead the experience. You'll check in with guests and make sure they are enjoying themselves, have a side of smile, focus on the food, and ensure a memorable visit.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
- Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.
- Perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to ensure standards are met, managing safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
- May be responsible for meeting targets during shifts and helping departments meet their goals.
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling.
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule who likes to have fun and works in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
