Shift Manager
About the role
The job involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing shifts to maintain high quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- Maintaining safety and security protocols
- Managing inventory and daily maintenance
- Ensuring exceptional customer service
- Managing crew and other managers during shifts
- Meeting and exceeding departmental targets
- Performing food safety checks internally
- Communicating effectively with the next Shift Manager
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Age 18 or older
