Shift Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew members and other managers during the shift to maintain great quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring team meets McDonald’s standards, managing safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
• May be responsible for meeting targets during the shift, completing paperwork, and helping assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Ensure food safety, manage internal communication, handle exceptions, provide exceptional customer service, manage inventory, train staff, and adhere to safety and security protocols.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a schedule that fits the restaurant needs.
• Capable of standing and walking for long periods, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching.
• Strength to lift, push, pull, and carry objects occasionally up to 40 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds.
• Skills to complete tasks and work positions with repetitive motions.
• Ability to hear and recognize differences in sounds.
