About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
- Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Monitor performance during the shift, take necessary actions to ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards, and manage safety and security.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift and help them run a successful shift.
- Meet targets set during their shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
- Manage inventory, food safety, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle any exceptions that arise.
- Manage crew effectively and train new employees as needed.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to adapt to the demands of the job.
