About the role
Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at each visit. They oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift
- Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting department goals
- Ensure food safety, manage inventory, conduct daily maintenance and cleanliness, and oversee quality food production
- Provide exceptional customer service and adhere to safety and security protocols
- Schedule staff and manage their availability
- Train new and existing staff members
Requirements
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule

- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
