Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald's standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager
- Ensuring the team is meeting targets
- Helping departments meet their goals
- Managing inventory, cleanliness, and crew
- Ensuring exceptional customer service
- Managing food safety and quality production
- Handling daily maintenance and cleanliness
- Ensuring safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Training new employees
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older
