Shift Manager

About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage food safety and quality production.
• Handle internal communication and scheduling.
• Train new and existing staff.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and a flexible schedule.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
