The role involves leading shifts in a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing crew and other managers, and meeting targets and department goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during shifts and help departments meet their goals
• Manage food safety, internal communication, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Manage crew and handle scheduling
• Train new employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions
