Shift Manager

About the role

The job is for a Shift Manager position at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.
• Perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring team meets McDonald’s standards, managing safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
• May be responsible for meeting targets during shifts and helping departments meet their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Monitor safety and security.
• Schedule staff.
• Train crew members.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.

Competitive pay from $17.66 - 23.66 per hour.
