Shift Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining daily maintenance and cleanliness, managing crew, and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards and take necessary actions.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her for the next shift.
• Meet targets during their shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety, and security.
• Train crew members.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 17 years or older to be considered for the role.

Pay

• $20.00 per hour shift leaders with limited availability.
• $21.00 per hour shift leaders with 2 shift/open availability.
• Ability to quickly earn more dependent on completion of training and job performance.

Schedule

Shift leaders may work varying schedules depending on the availability and needs of the restaurant.
