About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, cleanliness, and adherence to McDonald’s standards. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operation
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed
• Communicate effectively with other managers and staff
• Help prepare the next shift manager for their responsibilities
• Meet and exceed performance targets
• Manage crew and departments towards achieving goals
• Handle food safety and exceptional customer service
• Manage scheduling and staff assignments
• Train new employees as needed

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and evenings
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Age 18 or older
