Shift Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, and managing various aspects of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and crew activities.
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service.
• Handle scheduling and staff management.
• Train new employees and assist in their development.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to the unique demands of the job.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Pay

• Starting at $16.50 per hour in Maryland, $16.65 in Montgomery County, and $19.00 in the District of Columbia.
