Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members meet McDonald’s standards.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist departments in meeting their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train crew on food safety, internal communication, and other essential skills.
• Handle food safety, inventory management, and daily maintenance.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and safety.
• Schedule staff and manage their schedules.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and the desire to work in the McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.
