Shift Manager

About the role

The job is for a Shift Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Applicants should be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance, take corrective actions, ensure safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and food safety.
• Handle scheduling and manage crew.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work flexible hours.

Pay

$16.50 to $18.00 starting pay.
