Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They oversee a team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, communicating with the next Shift Manager, and meeting departmental targets.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing shifts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies
- Communicating effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager
- Monitoring safety and security protocols
- Managing inventory and daily maintenance
- Training and supervising the team
- Meeting departmental targets and individual shift goals
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Age 18 or older
Skills
Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with restaurant management systems are beneficial.
