Shift Manager

Requirements

A Shift Manager leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and supporting departmental goals.

• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Possess previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

Shift Managers communicate effectively and delegate tasks, manage inventory, oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness, and ensure the production of quality food. They maintain superior customer service, safety, and security throughout the shift. Additionally, they train new team members and assist in preparing the next Shift Manager for their responsibilities.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment

Skills

Successful candidates should possess strong communication and delegation skills, as well as the ability to manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food quality. Leadership experience is preferred but not required.
