Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting Department goals.
• Ensure food safety, manage inventory, conduct daily maintenance and cleanliness, and oversee quality food production.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain safety and security.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Positive team player with a flexible schedule who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Skills

Leadership, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
