About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient service
- Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies
- Monitor safety and security protocols
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager
- Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
- Support assigned Departments in achieving their goals
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Train and develop crew members
- Handle food safety and internal communication
- Manage crew scheduling
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to the demanding nature of the job
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Must be 18 years or older
