About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, cleanliness, and adherence to McDonald’s standards. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient service and compliance with McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Manage inventory levels and daily maintenance.
• Train and supervise the team, including addressing customer complaints and resolving issues.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet and exceed performance targets set by the franchisee.
• Support the assigned departments in achieving their goals.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.
