Requirements

A Shift Manager leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager.
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
• Manage production of quality food.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Monitor safety and security.

Responsibilities

Shift Managers are responsible for leading and managing teams to deliver exceptional service and quality food. They are expected to meet targets and support departments in achieving their goals.

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve high standards of service and quality.
• Ensure all team members follow McDonald’s standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager.
• Monitor and address any issues that arise during the shift.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
• Support the next Shift Manager in preparing for their shift.

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Positive team player attitude and a flexible schedule are also required. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Skills

Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial.
