Shift Manager

Requirements

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, ensuring safety and security, communicating with the next Shift Manager, and meeting targets. They may also assist in meeting departmental goals.

• Planning and executing shifts
• Maintaining high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
• Taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards
• Communicating effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager
• Maintaining inventory and managing daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Ensuring exceptional customer service
• Monitoring safety and security
• Managing crew and assisting in meeting departmental goals

Responsibilities

Shift Managers are responsible for food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, managing crew, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned departments meet their goals.

Qualifications

A previous leadership experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment, is preferred. We are looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
