Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Shift Managers are responsible for ensuring high quality, service, and cleanliness, managing crew, inventory, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
• Help assigned departments meet their goals
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Train new employees and enhance existing skills
• Ensure exceptional customer service and safety
• Schedule staff effectively

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace
• Must be 18 years or older
