Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Meeting targets during their shifts
- Helping assigned Departments meet their goals
- Ensuring food safety
- Maintaining internal communication
- Managing inventory
- Performing daily maintenance and cleanliness
- Managing crew
- Ensuring quality food production
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring safety and security
- Scheduling

Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with a schedule
- Passion for working in the McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate owned restaurant
