About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication between shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Support Department goals by assisting in meeting targets.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train and mentor the team.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee safety and security measures.
• Schedule staff effectively.

Requirements

A preference for previous leadership experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is desired. Applicants should be 18 years or older and possess a positive attitude and a flexible schedule suitable for a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A background in food service or a related field is beneficial but not required.

Skills
