About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operation
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Train and supervise staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with other managers
• Meet and exceed departmental targets
• Handle exceptional customer service situations
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed
• Schedule staff

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun

Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong work ethic and be able to handle the demands of a fast-paced, high-volume environment. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided.

Skills

Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities is crucial.
