Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, you will ensure that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit. You will also be responsible for various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
• Ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during shifts and help departments meet their goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Train crew and manage staff
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service
• Monitor safety and security
• Schedule shifts

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older
