Shift Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew members and other managers during the shift to maintain great quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring team meets McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
• May be responsible for meeting targets during the shift, completing paperwork, and supporting departments in meeting their goals.
• Ensure food safety, manage internal communication, handle exceptions, and provide exceptional customer service, including digital ordering.
• Manage quality food production, daily maintenance and cleanliness, training, safety and security, inventory management, and people practices (recruitment, retention, engagement).

Requirements

Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years of age or older to be a manager.

Physical Demands

• Work a schedule that fits the restaurant needs.
