Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing safety and security protocols, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor each shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Take action to address any issues that arise during the shift.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets set during their shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee crew management and training.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and enjoy a dynamic work culture.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
