Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during their shift
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Manage crew and handle food safety
• Train new employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older
