Shift Manager -

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Train and coach team members
• Meet and exceed performance targets
• Support the next Shift Manager in preparing for their shift

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications

While not mandatory, previous leadership experience is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
