Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages a shift, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plans for each shift, monitors performance, takes corrective actions, ensures compliance with McDonald’s standards, monitors safety, security, and profitability, and communicates with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Maintains inventory, performs daily maintenance and cleanliness, manages crew, ensures quality food production, maintains exceptional customer service, and ensures safety and security.
• May be responsible for meeting targets during shifts and assisting departments in meeting their goals.
• Ensures food safety and internal communication.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
