Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, enforcing standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Take action to address issues and maintain standards.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
- Meet and help meet departmental targets.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and food production quality.
- Oversee food safety and internal communication.
- Manage crew and handle scheduling.
- Train new employees as needed.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with a schedule.
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions.
Qualifications

Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with McDonald’s standards and procedures is required.
