Shift Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, communicating with the next Shift Manager, and managing crew and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for safety, security, and profitability
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Train and supervise crew members
• Handle food safety and production issues
• Manage scheduling and staffing
• Meet departmental targets and contribute to overall restaurant goals

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team
• Flexibility with a willingness to work varied schedules
• Must be 17 years or older to apply
